Karen Kluglein

Karen Kluglein was born into an artistic family. Her mother was a watercolourist and her father a woodworker, so there was always creativity and an appreciation for creating beauty. She began her career as a food packaging illustrator and later concentrated on botanical painting. Karen lives in a pine forest on the eastern end of Long Island, NY, where she enjoys walking the beach and playing in her garden.

Mel Spillman is a Noongar artist who was born in Queensland and is currently based in Western Australia. Through a variety of applications, Mel uses paint as a tool to tell stories and share knowledge. Raised away from her Aboriginal heritage, she wasn't connected to her culture. Through the practice of artmaking, she seeks to rebuild that connection, with a self-taught practice that extends from acrylics on canvas to leather and enamel paints as well as large-scale mural-based works.

PopcornBlue was created by  illustrator and artist, Sarah Hardy in 2010.  A successful children’s storybook illustrator with a background in graphic design, Sarah works from her home studio in Melbourne surrounded by her family, a Labrador called Zeus and Winston Churchill the cat, who provide an endless source inspiration. Sarah’s enchanting hand drawn illustrations can be found all over Australia in children's books, greeting cards, fine art prints, children’s boardgames and homewares.
